THE CLUB OFFERS NO FREE LESSONS

Like all classes, your child only pays for the very first lesson. The following lesson she/he needs to pay the remaining weeks left within the 8 week block therefore being in line with the others in the class. Lessons roll on and we do not have breaks unless stated.

This class was originally designed for the children coming out of the pre-school classes. It has become so popular that waiting lists are not uncommon for classes, but please feel free to enquire at the gym.

Children are given a good base for learning the basics of gymnastics. Basic skills on the 10 metre fast track which was funded by the Community Foundation, trampette, balance beams, vaulting table, spring board and all floor work are worked on at all times.

As well as this we have the Peg board to climb and the ropes.

Some children work and learn faster than others, but the coaches always take great care to ensure that each child is worked at his/her own ability range. The art of gymnastics can be mastered by having fun in trying.
This club believes not in off loading certificates at the children all the time as a way of making money and appeasing parents.

Having said this we try to offer Certificate work once a year but do offer Rosettes at a regular time.

Rosettes are earned when they master a move and are a fantastic memory that can be hanging on the bedroom wall for many years to come and of course show you their progress. Its optional if you wish to buy any of these.

It's about actually teaching the child to learn the move, to master the harder elements and who knows, maybe one day compete.
As coaches we want the children to achieve elements within the sport and to eventually combine these elements.

High Fives is a very popular class which runs every night of the week.
