Tricksters is one of the oldest classes Arabian has been operating, and when we say oldest, that is in time and age too. Gymnasts can be up to 16 years old and many are above 11years out of the 40 children that are registered.

The most popular class at the club and one that has seen many gymnasts go on to win medals in competition, if they want to compete at recreation events.

One of the most demanding classes to teach as the children get older and of course change with age, so often they find some moves too difficult so its always a challenge for the coaching team to keep the moves within reach of their abilities but not only do we manage this we also  ensure that they also have targets to aim at.

Nevertheless it is the most popular class the club has ever run and is always full and booked up. Some gymnasts have been in the class for over 9 years, its just a class they enjoy as its only two hours a week and there is no pressure put upon them to reach targets, but to just do their level best and enjoy trying.

It is highly unlikely you could call the club and walk straight in, you will have to register your daughters name for this class and she will be placed on the waiting list.

This class is an all girls class. The two hour class give the girls plenty of time to work on A bars, balance beams, Fast Bouncy track ( pictured above) Tumble on floor, Trampette, and Vault. As well as this there are ropes and peg boards to climb too which challenge the best of athletes.

The ability of some of the older girls is quite high with Handspring vaults and half on vaults being worked and some tumbles too, so its got quite a good level of ability across the board.

The youngest that can go into Tricksters is 8 years old but occasionally slightly younger are permitted in on ability basis.

A great deal of Tricksters come from developing within Salto's the earlier calls for ages 5 - 7 so this is an automatic progression within the club. But we also take gymnast directly into Tricksters as beginners too as the children are put into groups not always on age but ability..

Glenn Gamotis a senior club coach and also head coach Of Bicester & District has been with Arabian for the best part of ten years and he is  a huge favorite with many gymnasts within the club as well as the coaches.

Glenn has a knack of getting gymnasts to do things they thought impossible, so he is an integral part of the club and what it stands for in giving the children the best opportunity to develop their natural skills and also skills that perhaps don't come so naturally.

The two hour session is great value for money.
