Lincolnshire team Challenge 2009

Spalding November 8th 2009, great results from the senior girls who walked home by ten whole marks to retain their shield that they won back in 2008.

The junior team should of also won Gold but had to settle for siver due to a but  a bad day on beam ( rare). Going into their strongest peice beam last they were alreay 2 to 3 whole marks ahead of their rivals, but slips and nervousness from them all gave gold to their oppents Worksop.

Alan Commented on the results:
Senior
" I am of couse very pleased for the senior team, they were on fire and untouchable, i watched an witnessed a truly magical display of skill and confidence especially on the beam,  they were amazing, to win by ten whole marks said its own story"
Junior

" Great floor routines that had no deductions for artristy which is brilliant, but I take full responsibility for the way the girls performed on beam, it was totally my fault as I had not made sure they were suitably prepared Psychologically enough. No excuses really I will just have to work harder with the girls to make sure we do not get a repeat of handing gold to others, when it was clearly theirs"
