Head Coach Alan has selected Sophie Peers as the coach he would like to develope the very youngest in baby development twice a week. This small selected group of girls are where the club hopes to find possible future competitive gymnasts.
" Sophie has been with Arabian many years and has worked as a gymnast alongside top level girls. As well as this she has competed many times and also at County level, so for me she has the background and the knowledge of what it is we are looking for and how to develope these youngsters at a speed which keeps them in touch with the early ability they need but not so fast that it puts them off and takes away the fun of the sport.
Her gentle nature at teaching and soft spoken way I am positive will be a plus at helping these very young girls. I am quite excited that within our own ranks ad from within I can find coaches that are going to help make the future stars of this club.
In Development we already have Kirsty Lubbock who has shown great pedigree and amazing ability and strength in teaching the right way, the right formula and the right degree of discipline and fun."
