Arabian has a new Club leotard sample made and is actively looking for a corporate sponsor to come on board and assist the cost of the 45 squad leotards that are to be made by Milano. The Black and Pink is staying as the clubs main colours and the new leotard will have the sponsors name on it...To date two big companies have been approached but the club is open to anyone who is willing to help towards the £3,200 cost..Its a one off cost, not a yearly cost as are many sponsorships... One of the Companies has had 50 gymnasts appeal for support.... " I think its really nice that the children are actively trying to gain funding, it teaches them that things have value and are not to be taken for granted. If and when they don't succeed to get funding they will also feel the disappointment and it teaches them a valuable lesson, you don't always get what you ask for. As a club i like the gymnasts to learn not just the sport but the difficulties charities like ours up and down the country face day to day. We cant afford to spend £3,000 on clothes, so we wont have them unless we gain a sponsor....so much work to do " Alan Armitage Head coach |
